About Snowflake Pavilion Kl

If you are exploring Bukit Bintang and craving something sweet after a long day in the city, Snowflake Pavilion Kl is one of those places that instantly catches your attention. Located at Lot P4.01.00 & E4.01.00, 168, Bukit Bintang Rd, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, this dessert restaurant has become a popular stop for both locals and tourists who want a relaxing place to enjoy Taiwanese-inspired desserts and refreshing drinks. The atmosphere feels casual and welcoming, which makes it easy to settle in whether you are visiting alone, with friends, or with family.

One thing I really like about Snowflake Pavilion Kl is how convenient the experience feels from start to finish. If you prefer staying in, the restaurant offers delivery and takeout options, while dine-in seating is perfect for anyone who wants to escape the busy streets outside. The onsite service is smooth and friendly, so ordering never feels stressful even during busy hours. Because of its central location in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, many visitors stop by during shopping breaks or after dinner for an extra treat.

The menu at Snowflake Pavilion Kl focuses heavily on desserts, but the variety keeps things interesting. You can find silky shaved ice, chewy taro balls, grass jelly desserts, and warm sweet bowls that are comforting on rainy evenings. In addition, the restaurant also serves coffee, making it a good place for people who want both dessert and a quick caffeine boost. The presentation of the food looks appealing without feeling overly fancy, which adds to the laid-back charm of the restaurant.

Another reason many people return to Snowflake Pavilion Kl is the comfortable vibe. The bright interior, cozy seating, and steady flow of customers create an energetic but relaxed setting. It feels modern without becoming too formal, so visitors can easily spend time chatting, taking photos, or simply enjoying a quiet dessert break in the middle of Kuala Lumpur’s busy shopping district.

A perfect dessert during hot days. The ice really soft and fluffy even it’s a big bowl you can finish it yourself easily like cotton candy. Here’s what we’ve tried: 1. Matcha’Ryo ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Aromatic Uji matcha soft ice goes so well with the red beans and chewy taro balls and pearls. 2. Sesame Supreme ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Perfect for black sesame lover. The strong aroma of black sesame in the soft ice yet not too sweet with assorted flavour of chewy balls. Overall it’s a satisfying dessert. Self service therefore no service charge just 6% SST.

Yesterday my friend n I drove to Pavilion , Kuala Lumpur for dinner as we haven’t been to KL for a long long time since our retirement. At Pavilion there were quite a number of families with their children n kids n some elderly folks n some young n middle aged couples window shopping there. What I noticed is that the shops were not doing so well in making sales cos not many purchasers but mostly only onlookers. On the other hand, many popular n the more affordable eateries were crowded with people. Some eateries had long queues waiting to enter to dine there. After our dinner at Nyonya Colors, we walked around the shops in Pavilion. The weather was hot outside n we preferred the coolness in the mall though it was not that cool if the crowd was large. Then we came across this kiosk- Snowflake. The pictures of the different types of ice blended fruit with all the various mixtures of jelly n taro balls look so tempting n inviting. We were already a bit thirsty after the monosodium glutamate in our dinner. We sat down n ordered a mango snowfetti . First time eating this. It was fascinating watching the staff making this. They put a big round ice block of mango flavour into a rotating machine. Then they started spinning it , collecting the finely shaved ice at the bottom into a container. After that they added all the cut up pieces of fresh mangoes, jelly n taro balls around the shaved mango ice. This cost slightly more than RM 36. The shaved ice was so soft, fine , light n yet very fluffy! It tasted like cotton candy floss but without the sweetness . The large pieces of cut mango were quite sweet n the jelly n taro balls give the whole snowfetti an unforgettable flavour. This was quite an interesting experience for us both. To be able to see with our own eyes how they prepare this . They have to clean the machine with a small jet of water after using it . Then they put the mango block of ice into a thick plastic bag , tie it up n store it back into the freezer straight away. All the processes were very clean n hygienic. We shared the snowfetti . It took us some time to finish it up . This business is quite good cos customers do come n go. Families with kids n adults come to savory this great innovative thirst quencher. This kiosk is at the end of Pavilion just in front of Padini Concept Store.

I ordered the Mango Snowfetti and the Grass Jelly Sorbet — both were really refreshing and delicious. The mango dessert was sweet and icy with a nice fruity flavour, while the grass jelly sorbet was light. A great place for tasty, refreshing treats

11.15am but store still not ready. Worker pasted a paper said 12pm only open. Hmmmm. For the dessert that we ordered, really can tell image is for illustration purpose only.

A nice spot to relax and enjoy some desserts. Usually, I go for their hot desserts, but they were all sold out this time. So, we tried the mango-flavored dessert and the Ceylon tea ice — both tasted a bit off to me. Not really my type, though it’s worth trying once. Overall, I’d say it’s just average.

Surprised us. Ice shaved finely, freshly done taro balls (every 1.5 hours). Taste great, will come back!

Located in an open space outside Padini store. Simple furnishings mostly single seats. Seats are packed closely and can be too close for comfort . Can be very busy at night and you will not be able to get a space so we tried visiting the store at 12 pm instead. This time we were able to get seats. The portion is big, enough for 2 to share. However mostly made of shaved ice. If they cut down on shaved ice, it will taste even better. The mango cubes were sweet and fresh, the ice cream was smooth, and the jelly was very good too, a tinge of lime juice made it taste even better! One thing to note: They don’t accept cash and there may be difficulty paying with card. Best to have touch and go wallet.
